Three men were arrested in Kingsville, TX after 23 vehicles were broken into on Thursday morning, February 25, 2021.
Thursday morning, several police arrived to the parking lots to report 23 vehicles that were robbed at Legends Apartments in Kingsville, TX.. It was not only a couple vehicles reported broken into, but a whole 23 count whether it belonged to students, staff and general residents.
According to Kingsville officials, Deunge Lampkins (20), Tamaji Sylvester (22) and Cameron Bren (24) that are from Houston, TX were charged with possession of guns by serious offenders, and involvement in organized crime.
Kingsville officials said District Attorney Special Investigator Mike Tameze smelled marijuana while pulling a car where the three men were found located in as well as the stolen property from the robbed vehicles. Stolen items included wallets, cash, laptops, backpacks and guns. Crowbars and window punches were allegedly used in crime found by investigators who obtained a warrant.
The three men were all booked to Kleberg County Prison for felony possessions of organized crime, firearms and possession of identification information.
Not many residents seemed to have heard or witnessed much noise of any commotion that had occurred during the robberies of the 23 vehicles. This is maybe due to the crowbar silently being used or vehicles that contained no alarm while being broken into.
Investigations remain in-progress.
